Spencer received a super soft stuffed animal Monkey from Santa at Christmas (Santa knew that Jellycat stuffed animals are the best). (In true MacFarlane style, the stuffed animal is called "Monkey" kind of like Jack's Lovey is called, well, "Lovey".) At first Monkey was mainly used for teething. He took it in stride even though one of his front arms is much crunchier than the other. Now Spencer shows him a bit more love - talking to him as he goes to sleep and as he wakes, swinging him from side to side as he goes to sleep, and still using him for teething though now focused on Monkey's nose. In the last week, Spencer has taught Monkey a new trick: flying. Spencer picks him up and bravely sends him soaring like an eagle...and out of the crib.
