| I had a follow up scan last Thursday. These pictures are the best from that appointment. The tech was all business, so they aren't the greatest. You can see that the baby is growing. From measurements taken during the scan, the baby is estimated to weigh 2 lbs 6 oz. The baby has almost tripled in size in the last month!! Fortunately, the weight estimate is in-line with the gestational age. Today, I had a regular doctor's appointment. Again, everything is fine. My weight is also on track which is good. During this appointment, I had the glucose tolerance test. This test involves drinking a very sugary drink (mine was like uncarbonated, syrupy sunkist - kind of gross). Then you wait an hour and have blood taken for analysis to see how well your body processes sugar. Hopefully, results come back fine - otherwise, there's a follow on test that takes three hours and multiple servings of yucky sunkist. The craziest thing about this appointment was that I had to complete pre-registration form for the hospital. We're starting to get close. I'm realizing that the next step is delivering this baby - an idea that kind of freaks me out. I'm trying to take it all in stride. |

A few recent pictures of Spencer. He is growing like crazy and picking up all sorts of new skills like grabbing toys on the playmat, grabbing blankets or clothes and shoving them in his mouth, and his new favorite pastime, putting his feet in his mouth (with or without socks!). Learning all the tricks on his first flight. We lucked out and got an extra seat for his carseat (ok, I lucked out, but still...) Sleepy times with Grandma Enjoying a new toy! Such a big boy
