Four Months

Jack turned four months old this Saturday. He had his four month check-in this morning. He's growing and developing well. The biggest shock is that he's 27 inches in length. He's grown 6 inches since he was born - that's a lot of work. You'd think he'd nap better. :)

Current Measurements
Weight: 15 lbs, 2 oz
Length: 27 inches
Head Circumference: 44 cm

His weight is 50th percentile and length is 97th. We have a tall, solid little man.

During the check-up, Dr. Senkler held him while he stood. I had to get a shot because he was just precious.

School Projects

Jack has a school project due this Friday. The project is to visit a specific historic landmark in the city and then put together a write-up about the visit and place. Jack's location is Hamilton Grange which was the country home of Alexander Hamilton. We visited a few weeks ago (yep, we've have the assignment this long). Finally, Jack started putting together the project today. OMG, it was like watching me from 30 years ago. There was denial and defensiveness, then came tears and finally he produced really good work. If this is what the next 15 years are going to be like, we are in trouble. Also - sorry Mom, I know I tortured you with this experience many many times.
