Nine months

Jack turned nine months last Wednesday. As one colleague put it, he's been out as long as he was in. :)

Kind of weird to think about, but accurate nonetheless.

He still continues to grow like crazy. He's also working on crawling. I feel like he'll be in motion in the next couple of weeks if not sooner. Time to start babyproofing!!

School Projects

Jack has a school project due this Friday. The project is to visit a specific historic landmark in the city and then put together a write-up about the visit and place. Jack's location is Hamilton Grange which was the country home of Alexander Hamilton. We visited a few weeks ago (yep, we've have the assignment this long). Finally, Jack started putting together the project today. OMG, it was like watching me from 30 years ago. There was denial and defensiveness, then came tears and finally he produced really good work. If this is what the next 15 years are going to be like, we are in trouble. Also - sorry Mom, I know I tortured you with this experience many many times.
