Trampoline

Jack attends a gym class each Friday. The kids have free reign of the gym at the beginning of each class. Last Friday, Jack and his good friend Jake took over the trampoline. Jack loves to run on it, but hasn't quite figured out how to jump. I keep telling him to bend his knees - instead, he bounces with legs as stiff as boards!

    That seems a lot safer than the "Trampoline Of Death" that Nina portrayed it to be everytime the twins were on it. :)

School Projects

Jack has a school project due this Friday. The project is to visit a specific historic landmark in the city and then put together a write-up about the visit and place. Jack's location is Hamilton Grange which was the country home of Alexander Hamilton. We visited a few weeks ago (yep, we've have the assignment this long). Finally, Jack started putting together the project today. OMG, it was like watching me from 30 years ago. There was denial and defensiveness, then came tears and finally he produced really good work. If this is what the next 15 years are going to be like, we are in trouble. Also - sorry Mom, I know I tortured you with this experience many many times.
