Mother's Day

Yep, still posting late...but better late than never I suppose.

We headed up to Massachusetts for Mother's Day weekend for a quick visit before #2 arrives. It was great to see all the family, celebrate Mother's Day, and - a bonus - celebrate Connor's 7th birthday.

School Projects

Jack has a school project due this Friday. The project is to visit a specific historic landmark in the city and then put together a write-up about the visit and place. Jack's location is Hamilton Grange which was the country home of Alexander Hamilton. We visited a few weeks ago (yep, we've have the assignment this long). Finally, Jack started putting together the project today. OMG, it was like watching me from 30 years ago. There was denial and defensiveness, then came tears and finally he produced really good work. If this is what the next 15 years are going to be like, we are in trouble. Also - sorry Mom, I know I tortured you with this experience many many times.
