Importance of a Father Figure

Articles are frequently written about the importance of a solid father figure in childrens' lives, especially for boys. Father figures help equip kids with invaluable skills. That said, I'd like to share pictures from one of the more enlightening learning experiences between Jack and Justin. I'm sure that these skills will pay off in spades in the coming years. :)

Spencer Time

A few recent pictures of Spencer. He is growing like crazy and picking up all sorts of new skills like grabbing toys on the playmat, grabbing blankets or clothes and shoving them in his mouth, and his new favorite pastime, putting his feet in his mouth (with or without socks!). Learning all the tricks on his first flight. We lucked out and got an extra seat for his carseat (ok, I lucked out, but still...) Sleepy times with Grandma Enjoying a new toy! Such a big boy

Called up

This weekend, the t-ball team was short a few players. Spencer was called up from the practice team to fill in. He was one of the smallest on the field, but played well, even teaming up with Jack for an out!

3 Perfect Innings

Jack pitched for the Bluebirds today. He started and pitched three full innings. He faced 9 batters and got 9 outs. Not a bad start.
